Corian is the premier and first solid surface material that was introduced to the UK residential market in 1979 and still accounts for about 90% of the kitchen and bathroom worktops that we manufacture. Ideal Surfaces have been manufacturing kitchen worktops since 2006 and became part of the Dupont Corian quality network in 2008 which allows us to offer a 10 year guarantee on all kitchen and bathroom worktops that we manufacture and install.
Corian is the ideal surface to use in the home with its non-porous, hygienic nature, seamless when joined allowing nowhere for germs and bacteria to grow, it is hard wearing, resistant to heat and easy to clean. All coupled with Corian sinks that can be seamlessly integrated into the worktops allows the design imagination to be let loose. From monolithic effect islands with slab ends to beatiful curves and shapes using the thermoformability of the material, Corian is limited to the imagination and with the pallete of 65 colours to choose from, all suitable for kitchen environments the scope is endless.
