Unfortunately this island top with slab end panels had taken some impact damage and this had caused the Corian to crack across the top surface and even extended down through the recessed downstand. We attended site with a batch matching piece of material in order to carry out the repair works. We did this by routering out a section big enough to cover the damage and inserting a new piece 12mm thick with a perfect fit. Once glued with Corian adhesive, trimmed and re-polished the worktops were looking as new – see for yourself….
